Senior Commercial Credit Risk Analyst - Position Description
Accountable for completing complicated intricate analysis and is engaged in t minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures.
Provides analytical support to ensure bank goals are met.
Coordinates the production of performance reports for executive leaderships.
Reviews and analyzes trends and recommends strategies.
May contribute in or develop more complex program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling for the bank.
Analyzes all portfolio trends, regarding loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and other assigned criteria.
Will participate in the rollout of bank-wide programs developed because of determined needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Accountable for developing reporting and supporting ad-hoc requests for information and analysis by the Executive Risk Manager.
The successful applicant will have a proven background in reporting or analysis, Robust written and verbal communication skills, SQL, database and reporting software skills and a thorough understanding of financial institutions, commercial lending, and risk management.
Incumbent must be able to respond to requests for information by asking relevant, clarifying questions, identifying the applicable data needed to satisfy the request and presenting the information to the requestor in a clear and concise manner.
Must understand internal information systems, relational database design and Acquaintance of how to use various intelligence tools to access multiple information sources for analytical purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Must have 4 or more years of relevant financial institution experience with commercial credit risk management and reporting or risk technology
Advanced Excel skills, including data import, pivot tables, lookups and data analysis.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Significant understanding of credit risk management practices and policies
Understanding of commercial, consumer and specialty lending
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
